Zella and Noelle are a beautiful bonded mother-and-daughter duo looking for a home where they can settle in, feel safe, and let their wonderful personalities shine.
Zella was found as a stray in a neighborhood in Oakland, and just two days after coming into rescue, she surprised us by giving birth to four little kits! Her babies have grown up, but one special daughter, Noelle, has remained by her side. These two are now bonded and must be adopted together.
Zella and Noelle can be a little shy at first, but they have so much potential to become sweet, loving companions. They simply need a patient adopter who understands that trust happens on bunny time. Give them the space to approach you when they’re ready, and let them discover that people can be pretty great, especially when those people come bearing snacks!
And these girls LOVE their food. They know when nighttime treats are coming and definitely look forward to that part of their daily routine.
Their favorite time of day is free-roam time, when they can stretch their legs, race around, explore, and show off their binkies. They’re happiest with all four paws on the ground and are not fans of being picked up, which is perfectly normal for rabbits.
Zella and Noelle may not be instant cuddle bunnies, but for someone willing to earn their trust and love them exactly as they are, watching these two blossom could be incredibly rewarding.
