SLATER and TIMBER

Lops

Slater (gray) & Timber (brown) are a bonded pair who were surrendered to us by their owners. These handsome gentlemen are looking for their forever home together.

At approximately 3 years old (as of July 2026), Slater and Timber have settled into the perfect balance of curious and calm. They enjoy exploring their surroundings, supervising household activities, and then relaxing together for a well-earned nap.

When it comes to treats, these two have their priorities straight. Blueberries are their favorite bedtime treat, and they’ll be the first to let you know when snack time has arrived!

Slater and Timber are sweet, easygoing companions who would make wonderful additions to a family looking for a pair of rabbits with established personalities and a strong bond. Watching them cuddle, groom one another, and navigate life side-by-side is a reminder that some friendships are meant to last a lifetime.

Please remember that bonded rabbits must be adopted together, absolutely no exceptions.  Bonded pairs should also remain together when being transported (like to the vet), even if both do not have appointments. Bonded pairs provide companionship and support, especially during stressful situations like car rides.

Slater and Timber will need an adopter who understands that lop-eared rabbits are uniquely prone to chronic health complications due to their skull shape and the structure of their ears.  Like all bunnies, they require annual wellness exams to ensure they are healthy and that their ears are free from infections (otitis externa) and wax buildup.

All our rescue rabbits are spayed/neutered and litter trained prior to adoption.
