STORM

Available for fostering and adoption (previous rabbit experience required)

Young Lionhead Mix

We went back and forth on choosing a name for this cute girl, but “Storm” stuck once we saw her personality.  Abandoned in a cage on the side of a road, Storm was discovered by a Good Samaritan who dropped her off at the Millington Petco (they don’t take in surrendered animals, by the way).  Another helpful stranger agreed to take her and then reached out to us.  After such a journey, it’s understandable that Storm is timid and slow to trust humans. Who knows what kind of life she had stuck in that tiny cage – probably not much attention, handling, or pets. Storm is very vocal, she grunts and squeaks to let you know she doesn’t like something you’re doing. She will lunge while in her pen but has not bitten. Storm needs patience while she learns to trust, which is why she will need an adopter who is experienced with rabbits. When she’s held, Storm snuggles in your neck and is very content. This sassy girl is young but already has stellar litter box habits.

All our rescue rabbits are spayed/neutered and litter trained prior to adoption.
