INDIE

This sweet boy with a striking, super-soft salt and pepper coat was surrendered to Memphis Animal Services in November 2021.  He’s been in foster care with us for over a year and we’re hoping that his search for a forever home will soon come to an end. Indie weighs about seven pounds. His larger size and gentle, outgoing demeanor makes you feel like you’re hanging out with a small dog rather than a bunny. While many rabbits shy away from being handled, Indie is the opposite: he doesn’t mind being picked up and held, and he loves receiving pets. He’ll run to greet you when you walk in a room. Indie has superb litter skills and loves free-roam time, but (like all rabbits) he needs bunny proofing and supervision while he’s out and about.  Once Indie is done exploring he loves to snuggle next to you on the couch for pets. Indie is great with cat friends and he also doesn’t mind being around dogs, but would need to be gradually introduced.

All our rescue rabbits are spayed/neutered and litter trained prior to adoption.
