Adult New Zealand Mix

Ten rabbits were seized by Memphis Animal Services a week after Betty Marion White passed away.  It seemed fitting to name this large Ruby-Eyed White (REW) bunny after the legendary, larger-than-life comedian and animal lover. Betty White the bunny probably lived her whole life outdoors in a small cage without much human attention. She now knows what it’s like to live inside, and she enjoys interaction with people.  Betty is very sweet and curious. Her wonderful foster family has two small children who dote on her and she loves being petted by them.  Betty has fun foraging for pellets on her forage mat, and very much enjoys free roam time when she can explore and kick up her heels. Betty does great with gentle dog friends and will make a wonderful addition to a loving family.

REWs are considered the sweetest and most gentle type of rabbit. However, they are also the most overlooked rescue buns because of their red eyes and white coat.  Betty has a lot of love to give, and if you welcome her into your home and your heart, you will not be disappointed!

All our rescue rabbits are spayed/neutered and litter trained prior to adoption.
